My free-range Sicilian buttercup has been missing for a week. I had resigned myself to the fact that she had probably fallen prey to something. But low and behold she showed back up this morning. She and all the rest of the chickens are now locked in their coop for the next few days.

I know she has a nest somewhere, I just can't find it. And I am pretty sure a few of the other ones have been laying elsewhere as well. So time to retrain them to the coop.

Happy. Happy. Joy. Joy. Your wandering child came home safely. Some of mine are locked up now too for the same reason.
