In 2010 and 2011 a wild turkey hen took residence on my property - feeding under my bird feeders and pigeon aviaries. This week she showed up once again. In '10 she raised 2 poults to adulthood, and in '11 she raised 4. That's pretty good around here given the high predator load. She is a very large hen, and I am curious to see how many she raises this year.
 
That is awesome that she calls your place home, you will have to try & take some pics. She must feel really safe at your place.
 
Each year she has become progressively tamer. I generally see her each morning when she comes out to eat. When the poults hatch she 'disappears' and doesn't come back until they are about half grown. Where she winters, I have no clue.
