I'm not sure that she is. She is HUGE compared to the rest of my chicks (all bantams), but is a week older. Her name is Tank and it sure fits her!
What color do you think she will be?

I think she is about 3.5 to 4 weeks old. She is a "she" right?

She doesn't look like a Frizzle at all... perhaps LF Cochin, with the feathered shanks and single comb? She might turn out a mottled pattern but I'm not sure. As far as gender, it's a bit too early to be positive. Wait a few more weeks -- 6-8 weeks old is the general age when it's easier to tell males from females. :)

Huh, what kind of comb does it have? If it's a straight comb, I'd say splash cochin.

But I'm actually leaning more to Dark Brahma. If it has a pea comb, that will be the telling point.

Cochin and I think someone through a Large Fowl (LF) into the bantam box! Looks like she is going to be mottled and my guess is pullet :)

I got it from a local feed store and they got it from a local breeder. It was in a bin labeled "pullet run frizzle bantam." We got another chick from the same bin who is smaller, but they also had two different ages in the same bin. She has a single comb.

I don't care either way, because Tank is just a cutie and I love her.

She looks like a LF cochin to me as well. How old is she?

She may have a frizzled parent, but did not get the frizzled gene. Bummer!

I have had her for just over 2 weeks and I was told that she was about 2 weeks when I bought her.
