I saw three birds during my bike ride this morning. My brain immediately said they were kites... although I haven't seen any before, lol, besides in the bird book. The bird book says there aren't any around here, though.

Ooo! Isn't it so exciting when you see a bird in the wrong place? There's a lot of migraters that pass through my State. I did think I saw a snow goose once, and I don't think that they're in Maine.

I did get some pictures of these birds at my house. I'm not sure what they are, but they hang out in (what's left of) the garden and eat amaranth and sunflower seeds. Oh, wait, I didn't download those pictures onto my phone yet! Lol.

Cool! Lots of birds I know what they look like, and what they sound like, but just can't think of the name. Lol. Amaranth? Yum! Do you eat that?

I did try to take some hummingbird pictures, but it was still a little too dark, so I couldn't get the shutter speed fast enough without the picture being really dark.

I had to brighten them up even though the shutter speed still wasn't as fast as I wanted.

We sometimes eat it! We add some seeds to pancakes evey once in a while but we really don't have much use for it. It grows like a weed in our garden!
