Kingfisher trotted around the edge of camp, being bored out of his mind. The other wolves were either sleeping or away, so he had to find a way to keep himself busy. he found the nearest log and rolled it over with his snout, revealing a snake coiled into a ball. Fisher chased the snake around the forest floor and bounced it around with his paws.
"Good morning Fisher!" Maya said with a smile, and holding her head high, "And what might you be up to?" she asked.

"You've grown, my son. It's been ages since we last crossed paths. I went out west to the mountains to settle some... business. What have you been up to?" Night crinkled his nose at the smell of other wolves, "part of a pack, I see?"
"I have, and yes, it has been ages." He said, looking up, "Yes, I am, but it is a pack of loners, and I am their alpha." he said proudly.

Night couldn't help but smile. "you've done well, Odin. Now how did you manage that?"
Maya, seeing the snake in his mouth, backed away a little, "I am fine," she said with a crinkled snout, "I see you've caught a snake?"
Fisher smiled, "want any? it's really good, I promise!"

Night couldn't help but smile. "you've done well, Odin. Now how did you manage that?"
Odin felt good, his father was proud of him, "Thank you." he said, "Once I got older, mother and I eventually came across more loners." "And as the pack grew, they needed a strong leader, and mother needed help hunting, so she made me an alpha!"

"suit yourself then," Fisher shrugged before eating the snake whole. "It's odd that rarely see you, but often I wake up before anyone else anyways"
Maya tried to smile, not wanting to offend her fellow beta, "I don't always get up early, but some mornings It just feels good."

"Father," Odin began, "may I ask you something?"
