Mashi hadn't actually left, but he moved silently enough in the shadows downwind that he was very difficult to detect. He had tears in his eyes and longed to howl for his lost loved ones but he wanted to see what this wolf was up to.

After pausing for a minute, Aleksey contuied on his way. "Storm will pay. And pay BIG TIME! Then I'll return to Deliah." He thought to himself. He stopped again and sighed. "Deliah." He looked back at the direction that he had came from with a almost lonely look. Then a flattened smile came onto his face, and he returned to his pathetic limping, whimpering, and scheming. "Storm will pay. Storm will pay."

Mashi looked back in the direction the wolf had looked and saw the look on his face. He started at a dead run in that direction.

Out of the corner of his eye, Aleksey saw Mashi head in that direction. "No!" He thought. "Not Deliah!" Then tore after Mashi. He forgot his pain as he picked up speed. He just knew that the strange wolf was after Deliah, and he wasn't going to let him reach her.

Mashi wasn't concerned about the wolf chasing him, his legs were much longer so he could run much faster. He easily picked up his pace and was soon out of sight. He scented around and scented two female wolves and ran in that direction.

Aleksey ran as fast as he could. He saw that Mashi was out of his sight, but he knew where Deliah lived. So he ran towards there hoping that Mashi wouldn't reach her.

Mashi could smell the den but that wasn't where the females were. He finally reached the girls and saw one towering above the other. He smiled handsomely, "Hello ladies," he said smoothly, pretending not to notice what was going on.

Sofia was petrafied. "Another wolf from Shinning! I'm doomed for sure!" She thought.
Just then Aleksey leaped out of nowhere and sunk his sharp white fangs into Mashi's shoulders and knocked Mashi over as his body landed on him. "Thought you was going to mess with her did ya?!" Aleksey snarled ready to tear Mashi to peices. "Did you actually think I wouldn't notice your stained fur as you took off in this direction! I DIDN'T TELL YOU ANYTHING!" Aleksey was actually starting to scream because he was so angry.
