Listing is for shipment week of July 29 We Love our Marans. At the request of many BYC'er we have set up a grouping that produces ONLY splash copper marans. Shipment depends upon prompt payment (paypal, not epay please)and continued hens laying patterns, which is expected. Postage is $18.50 and is Priority mail/confirmation delivery. We wrap and ship carefully but do not guarantee hatch rates or replace eggs as shipping and incubation are out of our control. Eggs may be picked up at the farm if scheduled. 8+ eggs means minimum of 8 eggs and more added if available the day of shipping. Great lineage for these birds includes Bev Davis, Wade Jeanne, and The Garry Farm lines as we've been worked with Marans for years.
All breeding flock comes from dark eggs which doesn't guarantee you will get a dark egg layer but does increase possibilities. Many of our ladies have been laying for months with no break for refilling their painting!, so some of the eggs are lighter than pics
The Blue hen in the picture IS not in the pen, but posted this so you could see more of the splash colorings.
