I order some silkie eggs and today they came in, last time I ordered eggs, the yolk was 'saddled' ( 'u' shapped) into the egg. Two out of three of the eggs didn't live but one had grown but needed up trying to hatch from the wrong end and I didn't know! So the baby suffocated!
Just had two simple questions.
How can I keep the yolk from becoming saddled?
Do all saddled eggs end up have chicks that try and hatch from the wrong end?
