I recently got 13 button quail eggs in the mail I candled them all and almost all of them had saddle air cells and a few of them had detatched aircells so here is my plan, incubate them upright in a carton for 7 days candle them and see if anything can go back on their side and if they can't I will just continue to incubate them in the carton until they hatch is this a good plan, any information will be helpful thank you!!! Also wanted to add they are resting for 24 hours I will be putting them in in about anther 3 hours.

I've had quite a few shipped quail eggs that start off with saddled air cells that end up hatching just fine.

I had them in the carton and candled them yesterday all but 2 air cells were settled and the two that weren't had no development, I left them in for now but removed the carton.
Sounds like a plan! Hope you have a successful hatch!
