Shipped ducklings.

Hi all,

I have an order of ducklings coming that I completely for got I had placed an order for. Oops on my part. But here’s the thing the ducklings are shipping from the west coast to the east coast. The original eta was for it to arrive on Thursday at the latest. But they didn’t ship out until 2pm pst. The post office just sent me notification that it’s estimated delivery date is Monday! That’s going to be 6 days of shipping for day old Cayugas and mallards. Anyone had birds arrive with that time frame and survived? Or has anyone got that type of estimate and the birds were delivered earlier?

I just became very worried.

Wow I don't know. I hope they get there faster! Watch the tracking, maybe you can drive to pick them up or something. My chicks sat at a post office an hour away for a while day! We went and got them when we found out they were just sitting there. Good luck! Fingers crossed

I am watching the tracking closely. I now have two dates for arrival. The text updates say Monday still but the website is saying Saturday. So we will have to see.

Any update on your ducklings?

Got a surprise call this morning just before 7am. The ducks were at my post office! So I rolled out of bed and drove down there in just my pjs and picked them up. Now the tracking said they were still due to be delivered on Saturday. But I am glad that was wrong. Because when opened the box inside were 5 ravenous peeps.

so home we went and got them setup with vitamins in their water and soupy crumbles and then they went to town on both. Very active little guys.
