Hi. I've never bought shipped eggs before as I've only incubated my own eggs from my own birds. I have 2 new incubator upgrades and it's cheaper to buy eggs than chicks when I just want a few. My question is this: how long should I store eggs upright to settle before I put them in the incubator.

As little as you can get away with - the eggs are already less than fresh. If your air cells are bad, let them rest for no more than 24 hours. If they are chilled, let them come to room temp before sticking them in the bator. As @ChickenCanoe mentions, you can always incubate upright *without* turning for the first little bit.
