I received four dozen eggs today and six of them were smashed...really really smashed...and egg yolk got all over the rest of them, and dried.
What is the best way to wash these eggs before putting them in the incubator?
I know it is best to wash an egg with very hot water...I do have oxine ...if anyone thinks that would be best?
I would like to get them in the incubator, but don't want to set eggs covered in dried yolk
Thank you

Wash them under warm running water. Doesn't have to be really hot, just twenty degrees or so warmer than the eggs themselves. You can use soap. Get all the yolk off if you possibly can.

Once clean you can soak them in warm water with a little Oxine or plain laundry bleach in it for one minute then drain and allow to air dry before setting in the incubator. I use two tablespoons of plain laundry bleach to the gallon of warm water myself.
