Shipped eggs - hatch upright in carton, or lie down on floor?

Wondering how everyone does it. Lockdown upright in a cut-down carton, or lie them on their sides?

I have done it both ways and didn't see a difference in my hatch rate. if you do the egg carton method make sure its not a paper carton as that can suck the moisture out of eggs. I have used styrafoam ones with a hole cut out of the bottoms

I lie them down. Never tried it the other way though.
