Shipped Eggs Hijinx

I am in NJ and ordered shipped eggs off Ebay from Pennsylvania, thinking the closer the better!

According to the tracking information, they were sent from PA to a processing center in Boulder, COLORADO, and then to Aurora, Colorado, then to New Jersey.



Ugggghhhh....so whats the point I might as well order eggs from California next time. LOL

Yikes! Could you find a New Jersey breeder of something you like? If you have a state poultry club, you could inquire about what the membership raises. If you have kids the right age for 4-H, sometimes there are breeders who would share some good quality eggs to help your kids get started with chickens.

I got some eggs from a woman last year near Franklin, NJ. I found her on Craigslist.
