We were very pleased with our eggs from Meyer Hatchery. With one egg that came it was very hard to tell which end was the pointy end. We candled it and think the air cell is in the opposite end of the side that Meyer hatchery marked as the top. What do you think?

if you can’t tell it’s probably not a big deal.

Does the air cell move? If not, put the air cell up as that would be the fat end. If it is detached then telling what end it is would be tricky.

The air cell doesn’t move at all. So that’s good. We will put it up. Wonder if mailing it upside down for 3 days hurt it at all?

Fingers crossed for you! And hopefully it won't be too bad - I had an egg the other day that was hard to tell and I put it in the incubator wrong at first. Mine are horizontally turned though, so it didn't matter too much.

If anyone is following this. ALL 25 eggs from Meyer Hatchery were fertile!!!!!!! On day 7 ALL are forming just fine! I am amazed. I have three extra in my Nurture Right 360 that I am turning by hand because I expected several to not be fertile. I guess when it comes to shipping eggs Meyer Hatchery has it figured out perfectly.

Eggs were shipped to Council Bluffs, IA. (Near Omaha, NE) From Michigan. They were shipped out on Tuesday and my post office called me on Thursday. I went and picked them up there, otherwise they would have been delivered the next day. Meyer Hatchery packaged them perfectly as you can see in the video. I will be making a final video after the eggs hatch with all of the information and my experience.

It is currently day 14 and all of the eggs are still developing. 25 out of 25. Pretty cool!!
