Shipped eggs results! Added New Pics!!!

    I just wanted to share that i had some Silkie eggs shipped from a byc member and i had a 100% hatch i will get some pics later but i was shocked that i had such a great hatch rate from shipped eggs she is the bomb how she wraps the eggs etc... Thank you Martha!!!

    I had a 100% hatch from a fellow BYC member also. I ordered 6 BBS Orps from a real nice lady in Virginia about 3 years ago. It took 5 days to finally get to me out here in the country and I put them under a broody hen and they all hatched. She did a Great Job wrapping them also.

    So far, I'm finding that the further away from me the shipped eggs come from, the lower the hatch rate. OP what state did your shipped eggs come from?

    They were shipped from Kentucky and i live in Nebraska!

    Wow! Congrats on an excellent hatch. How were the eggs packaged up?

    Each one was wrapped in bubble wrap with the carton taped shut the box was stuffed tightly with paper!!! and i picked the eggs up at the post office!!
