I received some black sex link jersey giant eggs today though the postal service.
They arrived intact. How long should I let them sit before I put them in incubator.

You should incubate as soon as possible. They may be able to be incubated a day or even two later, but i suggest as soon as you get them.

Edit-

Sorry you should first let them reach room temperature if cold to the touch then incubate, if warm to the touch start asap.

Somebody said that I should let them sit for about 12 hours to let them settle before placing them in my incubator.

I always let mine set at least 12 hours at room temp.in an egg carton small end down. I have had very good luck hatching using this. I have put them strait in the incubator after picking them up from the post office and had terrible hatch results. It give the insides a chance to unscramble and the air cell a chance to "right" itself. This works for me. Good luck with your hatch.

Some will tell you eggs shipped during hot weather should be put in the incubator immediately since the eggs may have been exposed to high temperatures and begun the incubating process. Did your eggs feel warm when they arrived? If so you might want to go ahead and put them in. There are other posts on this subject to be found elsewhere in the forum.

How about a middle-ground? I found this to be extremely helpful for shipped eggs with burst/damaged air sacs: Put them pointy end down in the incubator and don't turn them more than a few degrees for the first three days. This way, you can also put them straight in the incubator, if you think they have already started incubating in the post. If your turner holds the eggs on their sides, use an egg carton. Cut the bottoms out and the tops of the points, so that air can circulate as much as possible. Then just pop something under each end to tilt them every few hours or so.

I must admit, letting them sit for 24h+ does help.
