Should shipped they be incubated upright or laying down? Is one way better than the other?

I leave mine sit pointy side down for 24 hours in an egg carton before setting.

Then, I put them whichever way they go in the incubator. The NR360 they lay on their sides, and the Brinsea 56EX they are pointy side down.

Yes, shipping can scramble them, so sitting them pointy side down usually can get the air cell to go back to the big end.
