Hello, I received some quail hatching eggs in the post and I have most look OK with all the air cells attached. However, one appears light at the pointy end of the egg. I have attached photos, any ideas what this is? The air cell at the large end looks normal.

I also have a couple with saddle-shaped air cells which I'm incubating in the plastic carton, leaving them for 36 hours and then just rotating side to side 3 times a day. There were also two with cracks which I've dripped wax on to seal them.

I really want these eggs to hatch so any more advice would be great, thank you!

It is likely a scrambled air cell. Hopefully it will go back up to the top. Do you have an auto turner in the incubator for quail eggs? Shipped eggs do better set the big end up for incubation and hatching
