shipping 3 month old RP poults

Hi all
I have a possible sale of 3 3 mon. old poults but would need to ship from Mo. to Ca. Is this possible and were would I purchase a container for this. What do you use for hydration during shipping?

I wouldn't ship and birds this time of year. Just seems too hot.

Actually I dont think you CAN ship birds this time of year, ask the postal service...

I think if it's over 90 degrees on your end or the other the USPS won't ship.

K makes sense BUT... If we decide to ship in a few weeks where would one get a container, how do you hydrate.. info please

I don't think they would survive being shipped at 3 months of age. At least, you will likely have some injuries and also, some VERY stressed-out birds that may get sick from all that stress.

When they're little day-old balls of fluff packed in a small box there's less chance for injury as when they are older, with long legs and they will be wanting to stand up, move around, and trust me, they will become very frantic in there and get injured.

Best to get day-olds or drive them in a car, or find a location near you to buy some from.
