how many one week old baby ducks can you ship together in one shipping box? having some shipped but dont know how many can be shipped together. want to buy as many as i can but dont want to have to pay for 5 different shipping boxes for 20 babies if you know what i mean. any help? thanks

I don't think I'd ship one week old ducklings - they eat and drink like pigs at that stage.
Where are you getting them from? Can't they tell you how many they can ship comfortably?

mainly trying to get info from others that may have shipped ducklings at this age. waiting for them to call me back and let me know but in the mean time thought i would get the opinions of some of these great people on this site. im new to all of this. what do you think would be the best way to ship them?

They travel fine at 1 weeks old. Grow gel is a must as are peas and finely chopped greens for the trip.

They can NoT ship in one of the new chick shipping boxes. They have to travel in the red/white bio secure shipping boxes. These boxes come in many sizes so you could buy a swan box and ship 30+ ducklings of a fairly small size at 1 week of age. Omni boxes could could a good number of ducklings too.

As day olds it looks like you can fit as many as 25 into a chick box. But they can't be any older than 1 day old in order to qualify for the chick box.
