A crate that size would make a better doghouse, than a chicken coop. There is no real ventilation to speak of, and no light. No way I would keep 6 standard hens in that box. Maybe if two of them were screwed together, and the ventilation was improved BigTime. When winter comes, you are going to have problems with six birds, in that box.
