Shipping eggs into the US?

OK, here's one that's FRAUGHT with red tape.... does anyone know how to get hatching eggs / birds into the US from the UK?

It's bound to be tied up tight in red tape, but can anyone advise me how, or does anyone know 'a man who does know'?

Hit me with the bad news.... I know it's darn near impossible, but it has to BE possible, so how?

Hmmm....I don't know about that....You might have to ask customs for both countries....Or just wait for someone who actually knows what they're talking about

I brought my dogs in with NO PROBLEMS whatsoever, but as chickens fall under agricultural laws, it's bound to be more difficult. The more I look into this and the rare breeds of my native country, the more determined I become to work it out!!
