There are a few of us in my 'area' (sort of) that have decided to go in together on an order from metzer farms this spring. One person pm'd me and asked if I would be able to express ship them to her, since she is unable to drive. Would that be too much travel time? They would already be in transit for at least 2 days, then another day or 2 more. What do you all think?

I would think that is a lot of stress on them. After a couple days they will need to eat and stay warm and I don't think it is warm enough yet to ship just 2. JMO.

We weren't planning on getting them till the first part of April, but I too think all that transit time would be too much for them. Even if it took 2 days for the first leg of the trip, and 1 day for the second, like it should, it would still be an awfully long time! Plus the P.O. is notorious for taking longer than they should, and I would hate for something to happen to them! I just wanted someone else's opinion! I know metzer's has a '2 gosling minimum' thing as well, so maybe this would be an option for her.

I have even had express mail take me 2 1/2 days with adults! You can request your money back, but who cares if the gosling dies.
Don't do it!
