Shipping started birds, Priority Express vs. Priority ??

Has anyone used Priority 2 day instead of Priority Express 2 day? I'm not seeing a real difference except in price.

Only day old chicks from a hatchery are allowed to go by priority mail. USPS requires all other birds to go by Express only.

That's what I thought too, but when I did then online calculator, checked "live animals" but not "day-old chicks" and it gave me 2 options for shipping: Express 2 day or Priority 2 day. What is the extra 50 bucks for if they're both guaranteed 2 day? Just trying to clarify. Thanks!
