Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii

Hey all, we are shipping our first group of birds ever to Alaska today and have an order going out to Hawaii in a couple weeks. This is new ground to me giving Alaska and Hawaii a chance, we are in Michigan. Just curious on any others experience with shipping to those 2 states or those of you in here that may have ordered from those 2 states. I was not sure where to post this but I figure a forum about breeders and hatcheries would be relevant. Thanks for any info.

I've had chicks shipped to Hawaii on a number of occasions. Most hatcheries will not ship to Hawaii, but Ideal Poultry not only ships to Hawaii, but their chicks have always arrived in good shape (even to the outer islands).
