Shipping to Hawai'i?

I wasn't too sure where to post this....(?) Has anyone here shipped birds to Hawai'i and if so....what does the shipper and shippee have to do to make this happen without alot of hassel and nail biting? Has anyone here from Hawai'i had birds shipped from the mainland?

It's a little complicated because you need import permits, health certs, etc. Chickens are exempt from quarantine I'm pretty sure though. Details here .
