Hope everyone had a nice Independence Day! My question is if anyone has recently shipped birds, or had birds shipped to them? I heard something about the shipping charges suddenly becoming insanely expensive... is this true???

No, I overheard some guys talking when I went to pick up my feed, but was extremely pressed for time and didn't question it. Judging by this guys video, it sounds true. Don't think I will be shipping birds anymore, because I can't imagine anyone wanting to pay those rates...

It is sad, wonder if it will affect One Loft Racing? I forget, ... Do you have rollers? There is an active chat thread in the pigeon forum now.

I've only shipped chickens but all types of shipping charges have increased in the last year or so.
I've had chicken orders cancelled when they found out what the shipping was going to cost.
I've eaten some of the cost on a couple shipments. That's not something conducive to making this hobby/business worthwhile.
