Shivering Chicken

Went out this morning to do the chores and found one of my chickens under the heat lamp shivering and the others has pecked on her

. I brought her in and has been laying in front of a heater wrapped in towels. She does not want to eat but will drink if I bring the water to her. She tries to move her head and it starts waving around. All the other chickens seem fine. She is about 2-3 years old.

Any advice?

Check her crop for impaction. When the sway their heads they are trying to adjust their crops.

Well she is still alive.. She started to get a little better and now her head arches to her back every so often and is sitting crooked. I don't expect her to make it. Just wondering if there is anything else I can do.

Your chicken sounds like she has wry neck or crook neck. She could have it from a disease such as Newcastles, a head injury, or from a vitamin deficiency. Get her on some vitamins, espcially B1 (thiamine,) E, and small amounts of selenium. Isolate her for quiet and less stimulation. Here is some info about it:
