Chicken, bumblefoot, feather on feet plus molting

Hello All,
I came here seeking advice on how to wrap my chickens foot. She is a Blue Copper Maran, and has a mild case of bumble foot, vet already looked at her no core thankfully. I just rewrapped her foot and say some bump on her leg that I can only assume cause her feathers were wet and I had wrapped it. So I wanted to not wrap that area and let it air out cause she also is molting. So I would like some advice on how to wrap her foot while avoiding the feathers on her leg/foot.

If the Vet said there was no core and the issue is minor, then perhaps the foot doesn't need any wrapping at all.

He cut it open cause she still has stuff in the foot. I drained it earlier and more stuff

Oh, I see.

Well, you'll just have to wrap the best you can. Feather footed birds can present a challenge with wrapping.
