I have a 1 year old silkie that I took in about a month ago. The past few days she has been acting weird, and I initially thought broody. She is constantly in the nest with her body sort of flat and hasnt laid for almost a week. If I take her out she just plops down into that same position in the nest, sort of flat. Today, I took her out and she was shivering/shaking when I was holding her. I noticed it yesterday too when I set her down in the yard. Now she is breathing sort of heavy. I just want to make sure nothing is wrong. I just lost a hen a few days ago so a little paranoid

The video shows her heavy breathing but before I grabbed my camera she was even breathing more hard. I actually thought she was going to throw up because they were such deep breaths and her throat area puffs up so much
