I’ve got a month old chick who seems weak. He eats and drinks, takes enormous healthy poops (like some of my full grown hens don’t have poops this big), but seems to kind of fall over onto his side and appears to shiver. He seems thin despite the fact that he’s been eating and drinking. He will still get up and run around if he’s scared or something, but he was laying in the pen getting trampled by chicks yesterday. He’s started doing a weird head shake thing too. None of the other chicks are doing this.

I’ve got him separated from the other chicks with chick starter mash and electrolyte water. Not sure what else to do or what could be wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated since this chick is out of my favorite hen. Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing here but I wonder if he might have Coccidiosis.
What is the temperature in your brooder?

Hmm, none of the symptoms seem to match up with her. She’s got normal poop with no blood, she’s eating and drinking but she’s just a bit droopy. She keeps laying in weird positions and seems to have trouble standing but she’s still interested in eating and drinking. Seems really weird!
Also, I’ve got varying aged chicks in the pen, it’s about 90 right below the light but gets cooler as they move away from it. I just wish I could find something online about what’s going on, I’ve been on google half the day with no luck

If you don't think it could be coccidiosis (you do not have to see blood for it to be coccidiosis) you may want to offer some vitamins.
Nutri Drench is good.

Is she a meat bird?
No she’s a leghorn silkie cross. I’m treating her for coccidiosis no, for the past few days she’s been on Corid. Today she has diarrhea, and will not stop chirping. I gave her a bath and she’s snuggled up in a towel in my lap now. I don’t know what it is but I hope she recovers. I have another thread on here about her currently with more information
