Shop that sells wires doesn't have stainless or powder coated, can galvanized- zinc coated be used?

No, I will make wooden cage for them but I don't know if they can be used for budgies, I seen somewhere that it can be used if washed with vinegar. If you know how to wash it and is it actually safe, tell me. Thank you ☺

Are you talking about mesh? Thats what i use never washed it and my birds are fine

Id assume they where asking about budgies which i use the mesh for both my budgies amd chickens

Glad to hear everyone’s on the same page! i just seem to remember seeing people on BYC figure a thread was about chickens when it was about something else, and wanted to make sure.
