Shorthaired Chick?

I will add an image when I get home but we have a chick who's fluff is short and stubby. and it feels kinda like a wire haired dog? She has some bare spots too, she hatched well and is completely healthy, shes a Black Star Pullet, 1 week old. All of her hatch mates are fine and fluffy, but she is shorthaired? I will be keeping her out of the 13 and hopefully can track this weird thing throughout her life!

1. Has anyone seen this?
2. Does it effect the chick?
3. what is it?

Shes exactly that mix so itd make sense! Ill go geab a photo real quick!

I wonder how she will feather in? It was just coincidence that I thought of clubbed down....while waiting for my eggs to pip & zip a couple of weeks ago I was reading chicken books and came across it

I am hoping to keep her and her spunky little attitude so I can find out how she grows up! She also has an interesting face shape that I am going to love watch grow :3
