With non-accidental levels of tylenol, the poor kid is going to be one sick puppy for a long time. Sad, when you think about it.

I know of someone that actually died of liver failure due to incidental overdose of tylenol over a short period of time. Dr told him to take a double dose for several weeks for pains, he did, and he died about a year later.

Don't take tylenol folks. Just don't. There are MANY other pain relievers out there that you could take every singe day and you would be just fine. Tylenol isn't one of them.​

Tylenol IS very easy to OD on. Someone very close to me went through that last year, but he was TRYING to kill himself. No other OTC pill was used, just Tylenol. The stuff scares me.

Underage smokers should have something available to us just as freely as legal smokers who are nic craving / trying to quit. The only difference is age.

No. It is illegal for minors. Niccotine is not dangerous to go off cold turkey, if he is in fact addicted to niccotine, and not just wanting to feel dizzy.

I would say absolutely not in that situation! The kid has addicting behavior. Would I prescribe it if I was a doctor to a 16year old? No! This kid is a minor, there are better ways to handle this problem such as abstinence. I'm sure being in the icu the kid is not able to smoke and that's the only reason he wants the patch.
