I'm getting some store bought chicks from TSC and wondered if I should quarantine them or if they are okay to go right in with my home hatch chicks in the brooder? Thanks!

I quarantine store bought chicks for a month now and introduce to my hatchlings after that time.

My dad's EE roo from the store had cocci and passed it on to my D'uccle chicks 2 years ago. It was a
medication resistant variety that kept them sickly for some time. They all survived, even the EE which
had to be carried around and given medication and force fed for two months.

So, I say yes based upon my experience.
