Getting quails soon. Don't worry, getting everything ready and set up and learning more before I actually get them in my possession.
My quick question is, for the sand/dust baths, should I give one smaller container per each quail? As in, do they prefer to do that alone; or can I just go ahead and put one big thing of sand that can sit like 2 of them with plenty of room to move around and swish sand about/dig. I will have 4 quails for one cage (Just those 4). They will be kept outdoors in an elevated cage if that makes any difference, though I don't think it does. Just sharing what I can.
Tried to find that info online but most sources just mention the baths and not so much that details. Any help would be great! thank you!
