So I have broody that is a determined mother. She gets kicked out of her nest all the time and yet goes back to the nest and sits! My question is how do I move her and when do I move her?
Thanks!

I'd try moving her at night, after she's been sitting at least a few days so you know she's determined. I've never been able to move a broody without breaking her, so if you have enough nest boxes that you can just close hers off so she isn't disturbed that would be the way I'd go. Good luck!

But if I wanted to move her I would do it at night.

Yes, and with as little stress on her as possible. Have everything ready and move the eggs just before the hen. Make sure she can't get out or she'll go back to the empty nest. After she's moved and she wakes up in her new digs, leave her alone. Don't bother her for anything for a couple days and then only for feed and water. Complete privacy. Good luck........Pop
