I want to have a brahma chicken. But some questions; 1. Will she do okay on my flock, because I have a flock of rhode island reds only, I'm worried that she'll not get along with them. 2. Don't they need extra care for their feathered feet? And also It gets muddy in my area, because it rains almost every morning. (Actually, I can get that brahma chicken anytime, because the farm is just like 5 minutes away from me, and it's for free too. But i just want to make sure that I will not regret getting it.)

She’ll be fine with you RIRs and they don’t need extra care for their feathered feet.

Welcome to BYC. I wouldn't add just one, of any breed. Is it possible for you to add two? One single will probably always be shunned and lonely. As far as the feet, it isn't too hard to keep mud from building up, but it does take a little dedication.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.

You should be fine getting her. The only extra care you need for the feathered feet is to be much more vigilant about inspecting for scaly leg mites.
