Should I assist with this hatch?? Pic attached

Id say just make sure the import things are wet like the membrane but don't get water in/really on the baby so it doesn't get in its nose or beak.

I would deffinately help, should be real easy at this point in hatching and you shouldn't have to worry about any blood vessels. It looks shrink wrapped and could really use some help
is it a cochin?
Do not wet the membrane, you could drown the chick. Just peel it off with your fingers, it should come off pretty easy, I've done it several time

Here he/she is...I'm thinking Roo but could be wrong. I did have to assist a little, was trying to shrink wrap! Out of my dollar store bator....Doing well thus far thanks to BYC's friends

Beautiful! In the first pic his little wing looked JUST like my mille fleur Cochins when hatching...and he's black!? Beautiful baby, and wonderful assist!
