This little call duck has been like this for about 6 hrs now, it just has his little wing sticking out....

Ok, that's not going well for him. Any sounds or movement?

I went ahead and got him out, he was ready. No blood or anything, looks like he got dried up, possibly when I took out the chicks that had hatched in there this morning. There are no others pipping at the moment so it went ok.

Wonder why none of the others have pipped yet....odd. Today is only day 26 I guess, hopefully he was just an early one.

What kind is he? Some duck breeds are a bit less and some a bit more than the standard 28 days. You might want to do some research on that. congrats on the successful delivery.

I had a bantam game chick that was stuck like that for long enough to be completely dried up when I popped him out.
