Should I be concerned? Leg red spot

Evening all! I have a lovely lady pullet who I noticed had a swollen spot on her leg. My first instinct is either to lance and drain or leave for observation. Thoughts? She doesn't seem to mind it poked, but it's definitely more red and swollen than it should be. Pictures attached.

I would probably watch it for a day or so. Could she have been stung or bitten by something?

Possibly, my coop is very open and backs up to some jungle. The spot is still there, but doesn't look any worse. I'm going to keep monitoring.
