We have a young flock and I am not sure if we should be getting more eggs than we are. They are getting layer feed, oyster shell, and free range every day for at least an hour.
Here are the stats:
1. 1 Blue Easter egger (24 weeks) she lays every day
2. 2 Dark Brahmas (24 weeks) No eggs yet as far as we know.
3. 4 Cuckoo Marans (21 weeks) We get usually 2, sometimes 3 a day.
4. 2 Black Laced Wyandotts (21 weeks) No Eggs as far as we know.
We usually get 3 eggs a day (one blue and two dark brown from the Marans). I thought we would be getting more eggs than this by now and am a little worried that some could be laying in the run/coop and eating. Unfortunately we are not home during the day to watch closely.
Can someone tell me if this is normal at this point?
