Should I be concerned?

Boris has been free ranging with the ducks and chickens during the day. This seems to help a little. He walks around with the ducks for a while and then heads back to his stall and hangs out there and back and forth a few times a day. The goslings come in the last week of March. Hopefully soon afterwards the goslings can go out for a while each day. Then hopefully through a fence they can get to know Boris. I also try to spend time out with him. He seems to like my company like before the breeding season. I feel sorry for him but he is eating well and does stay active.
I'm so glad you get to spend time with him. This is such a hard time for the both of you and being with him has got to let him know he isn't alone. I'm glad you have more coming, it will go along way to heal the hurt you have right now. Flockman, I can only imagine how devastating this must be. When I lost a few of my ducks I was besides myself. Cry? Oh Lord....silly maybe, but how I felt and still do. I wish you and all of yours the very best and a new beginning with more joy than you can handle.

X2!
