We live near a creek, and the creek is normally bone dry. But we've gotten so much rain this spring that there's a lot of water, pretty much standing in the creek (i know that doesn't sound right, but it's true).....and thus we have an alarming mosquito population right now.

Should i be concerned about my chickens?

If yes, is there something natural i can do to protect them?

I appreciate any advice you can share. Thank you!

Oh cool! Are those dangerous to the chickens? I don't actually know what moth balls are made of. I just know they stink.

What do you make the boxes out of? Do you have a picture? I'm imagining some sort of screen or something?
