Should I be worried about the spots on my hens face?

I was outside today and noticed these spots on my hens face. She’s moving and acting normal. She is the bottom of pecking order so I wonder if she just got picked on and scabs are healing over? She’s such a sweet chicken so I really want to catch it early if something is up.

If you have warm temps and mosquitoes, it may be fowl pox, a virus that is spread by mosquitoes. It lasts about 3-4 weeks. There is no treatment. Most chickens recover.

The red blood scab to the left of her beak, doesn’t look like pox, so it could be a peck wound. This picture shows the progression of pox scabs from beige to brown or dark brown, and they will be on the comb, wattles and face:

I was kind of thinking that, especially the right side of her face. I think I will just keep things a little cleaner and keep an eye on it for the next couple days to see if it heals up or gets worse.
