So...

Should I be worried if when I go out in the yard, I keep seeing my ducks trying to fly?

Well I'd laugh except I don't know if this is a behavior because they want to get away, or just because they feel the instinct to want to fly.

4 pekings, and 3 khakis.

They seem to like me (for food). And its hard to tell if they there's a reason for the wanting to fly, as they eat like wolves no matter if I feed them a little or a lot.

Now I've heard people say that Pekings can't fly. But 1 (or 2?) of mine can hop fly, about 3 feet high off the ground before they hit the ground again. So they can't really fly but they are jumping higher than they did before. And it looks like it might be the drake doing this? And the other one did it once. As it looked like his previous hop a few days ago was only 2 feet high I thought I should ask about this.

The one got over the small chicken fence once, but it was when I went out to feed them and he got excited to see me.

I'm not sure how far they will go with this? And what others think?

Pretty tall on all parts except one section that's not tall at all.

What kinds of behaviors would you say are just playing around? Curious to learn from you.
