Should I be nervous? I have 11 Serama eggs that should be hatching now. I put them in the incubator in the evening of August 15th, so this should be day 19 right? There is no movement of the eggs, I don't hear any noise, and there is no pipping going on. When do I start to worry. My last attempt at hatching was a disaster, so I had bought a new incubator. Incubator has been set at 99.5 the whole time. Humiditu for first 6 days or so was at 50ish. Once I filled both sides it went up to 69 and has stayed there.

Are you using separate Hygrometers, & thermometers to monitor conditions in your incubator?

Are you candling the eggs, & removing any dead embryos?

I did not use anything separate. I did candle the eggs on day 16, and they were all moving.
That's one big mistake, is going by the built in thermometer, & hygrometer of an incubator.

Also, you should give your eggs a candling to see how they're doing if worried?

69 is way to high. They still may have a chance though. They still have quite a bit of time to come out. Day 18 is just for bantam eggs, but bantams eggs could come out day 21, it’s just different factors.

Here's temperatures that are best for incubating chicken eggs: 99.5°F - 100.0°F

I go about 98.5°F - 97.5°F for Silkies, they seem to do better at a lower temperature then other breeds.

Humidity for the first days before lockdown I go 35% - 45% humidity.

Lockdown I go around 55% - 65% humidity.

There was nothing I could do about the 70 humidity short of taking out all the water. The same goes for the 50 before. If I put any water at all in the incubator it went up to 50. These are Seramas, nd I keep being told tht they hatch at about day 18.

At this point should I take them out and candle them tonight when I get home from work? Should I take the water out to try and lower the humidity?
Yes, candle the eggs.

No need to remove the water, gap the lid, or remove the plug to release humidity, or just let it burn off. Add just little bit of water to boost back up once needed.
