should i break broody?

There are a lot of different ways, but I just make sure I remove eggs from the hen house every day and boot the broody off her nest. They eventually give up. I've heard of people putting them in a drafty place where they can't get comfortable on a nest, dunking them in cold water, and doing a number of other things, but I've never done any of that.

Thanks! That was great information. I don't have any broodies but I just have this feeling that my NHR is going to go that way this spring, and wanted to be prepared. Now I feel like I am.
