The principal is the same for laying out your run plans. Determine what measurement each square will equal, draw perimeter, plot where the posts and door will be then calculate lumber and wire.

here is a plan that sounds similar to what you are after: https://www.thegardencoop.com/product/chicken-run-pergola-plans/

you have to pay for the plan (not very much), but if it’s anything like his coop plans, it’s VERY thorough and easy to understand. having a set of detailed plans like this will probably save you more in mistakes and guesswork and headaches than you spend on the plan.

maybe some of you have example sketches?
I bought some coop plans off of etsy and was pleased with them. Every seller is different, so research the reviews carefully. Even with what I bought, I had to make some adjustments and stumbled upon a few errors in the cuts listed.

Post back a link to something you might think of buying and people here will be glad to provide some feedback on what they think of it.

Many people around here are generous with their designs ... but they may not happen to be reading the threads at the time. That's why perkolator's suggestion is so important.
Again, I would refer you to the Coop Articles here. A lot of the design work is already done for you as many builds have either plans or really great pics showing exactly how it was built
